XKIG is seeking a Bucket Operator with CDL in Roanoke Rapids, NC to operate heavy equipment and support electric utility vegetation management. The role requires active CDL, physical fitness, and strong safety practices to perform daily tasks across multiple site locations.

Responsibilities include equipment prep, operation, maintenance, and assisting team members. Occasional storm work and travel to field sites may be required, with a focus on safe operations and efficient job completion.

Qualifications

• Active CDL is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules.
• Prepare equipment and materials with Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools.
• Assist crew and take leadership when required.
• Set up barriers, signs, flags, markers for safety.
• Report mileage to Foreperson.
• Perform storm work duties as needed.
