Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines and right-of-ways. You will operate an aerial bucket truck to reach branches near energized lines and ensure safe, compliant work.

The role requires a CDL and involves coordinating with property owners, crews, and local authorities. A strong safety mindset and physical stamina are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Can identify tree and shrub species.
• Requires physical energy, twisting, lifting and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Obtains permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and arrange access.
• Maintains good customer relations and coordinates with the crew.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Sets up barriers, signs, and markers for safety.
• Operates and services equipment including bucket trucks and power tools.
• Performs tree and bucket rescue.
• Trains new personnel.
