Precision Group is looking for a full-time CDL (Belly Dump Driver) based in Hobbs, New Mexico. The role involves transporting bulk materials such as gravel and asphalt to various sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. You will conduct vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and effectively communicate with dispatch and site managers.

Qualified candidates will possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and have experience operating heavy equipment. The position requires strong driving skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to adapt to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with appropriate endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening.
• Experience operating belly dump trailers or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle with a belly dump trailer to transport bulk materials.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load and unload materials safely using the belly dump mechanism.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel.
• Adhere to all transportation laws and safety standards.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents promptly.
