Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver (Class B) to safely operate a collection truck, perform routine inspections, and provide courteous service to customers on assigned routes in Iowa. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting of daily activities.

You will complete pre/post trip inspections, adhere to safety standards, and maintain productive routes while representing the company’s values of service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong safety mindset and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers accurately.
• Load refuse with manual/automatic controls and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Document route productivity and vehicle checks daily; report any issues promptly.
