Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide dependable waste removal services to customers in Bridgeton, MO. This role requires pre- and post-trip inspections and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will read route sheets, service assigned customers on your designated route, and maintain accurate reports. CDL-B with air brakes and 2 years’ experience preferred; strong safety mindset and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them per procedures.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports.
