Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) in Oregon to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt waste removal services. The role requires maintaining vehicle safety, complying with safety standards, and completing daily vehicle condition reports.

You will interact with customers and dispatchers, follow routes, and ensure efficient service. Minimum requirements include a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the heavy collection truck on designated routes and service customers and disposal sites.
• Load refuse and operate the packer/compactor in accordance with safety policies.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers professionally to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies, participate in ReSOP, and maintain orderly, safe work practices.
