Qualifications

• Must have Class B license and safe driving skills.
• Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep time and material records as required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
• Communicate effectively on the radio system.
• Lift/move 10–30 lbs and perform basic vehicle tasks.
• Load/unload water for compaction and dust control.
• Perform minor vehicle servicing and maintenance or report major problems.
• Be a team player and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver soils, aggregates and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
• Make pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Load and unload large quantities of materials as needed.
• Maintain time and material records for deliveries.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or report major problems.
