Job summary

R+L Carriers in Knoxville, TN is hiring a CDL B City P&D Driver responsible for delivering and picking up freight within the city, returning to the terminal daily. You will interact with customers, operate scanning equipment, and coordinate with the terminal staff.

The role requires a CDL Class B, a good driving record, and the ability to lift and bend as needed. This full-time position offers vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k)

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CLASS B Truck Drivers at our Knoxville, TN Service Center. As a City P&D Driver you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scan equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL Class B License
• Good driving record / MVR.
• Must be capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty

Preferred

• Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
• Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
• Hazmat endorsement
