Safety-Kleen in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to service parts washers, pickup hazardous waste, and sell products on a defined route. CDL sponsorship is provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently with time and productivity management.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Problem solving abilities and physical requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Switch 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer sites.
• Complete documentation and labeling accurately.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products to existing accounts.
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety rules.
