Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Sweeper Truck Driver to keep active construction and roadway sites clean, safe, and compliant. You will operate a street sweeper and related equipment to remove debris and track-out, supporting paving, grading, utility, and bridge crews across varied environments.

The position requires a CDL B license, 1–2 years of experience on construction sites, and the ability to read traffic control plans.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of experience operating a CDL B sweeper truck on construction sites.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and weight limits.
• Ability to read and follow traffic control plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mechanical or vacuum sweeper truck to clean roadways and staging areas.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain daily logs and service records per DOT and company policy.
• Coordinate with dust control and paving crews to minimize track-out.
• Navigate active construction zones safely and follow traffic plans.
• Empty hoppers and dispose of debris per environmental regulations.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on broom and vacuum systems.
• Maintain a truck log in accordance with regulations.
