Sweeping Corporation of America seeks a Day Street Sweeper (CDL B) in Dublin, CA for full-time. You will operate a street sweeper on assigned routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain safety on all city streets.

The role requires a CDL-B, DOT medical card, 1 year DOT driving experience, and a clean driving record. Expect $25–$27 per hour, with a first pay increase at 6 months, and minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B and DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Compliance: Must pass MVR, background check, and drug screening per policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Execution: Review routes; complete jobs within the allotted timeframe.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate the street sweeper and follow safety procedures.
• Material Handling: Handle materials and disposal sites as required.
• Reporting: Report issues within 30 minutes and escalate safety concerns.
• Professional Communication: Maintain professional conduct with teammates and clients.
• Compliance & Documentation: Complete logs and forms accurately.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and resolve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Arrive on time and adhere to schedule.
