East Penn Manufacturing is seeking dedicated Class B Route Drivers to join our private fleet in the Berks and Lehigh County areas. Deliveries will be within a 300 mile radius out of Maidencreek, PA. Average Potential First Year Starting Salary: $75,000 per year plus expenses paid and a $2,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus!

Responsibilities

• Overnight travel up to 3–5 nights per week.
• Operate a diesel or gasoline powered straight van (up to 46,000 lbs GVW) or smaller as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight while engaging with customers to ensure outstanding service.
• Log hours using an electronic logging device (ELD).
• Complete manifests, bills of lading, claims, and trip reports.
• Load/unload freight using electric pallet jacks, liftgates, or dry vans.
• All trips are scheduled with return loads.

• Deliver and pick up freight while engaging with customers to ensure outstanding service.
• Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of service and vehicle inspections.
• Accurately log hours using an electronic logging device (ELD).
• Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections.
• Operate vehicles safely and legally, utilizing all onboard safety features.
• Complete company paperwork (manifests, bills of lading, claims, trip reports).
• Load/unload freight using electric pallet jacks, liftgates, or dry vans.
• All trips are scheduled with return loads.

Qualifications

Required

• Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Literate with good communication and math skills.
• Customer focused professionalism.

Preferred

• Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat (endorsements not required prior to employment but obtainment required during probationary period) Training provided.
