Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DOT CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience delivering steel or construction materials is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Thorough understanding of and adherence to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport steel parts and plates between fabrication shops and job sites.
• Ensure secure loading/unloading of materials per safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch, colleagues, and clients to address concerns.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and traffic laws at all times.
