The role requires daily pre-trip inspections, adherence to traffic laws, and accurate completion of student reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people preferred.
• Willingness to learn skills through training.
• Must obtain and maintain Missouri CDL-B with school bus and passenger endorsements.
• Must pass yearly school bus physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip inspection before leaving the lot.
• Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation for passenger comfort.
• Comply with local traffic regulations and report delays or accidents.
• Complete student reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain discipline and model safe riding behavior.
• Respond to standard road signs and other instructions.
