Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider and leader in onsite services, is seeking a portable sanitation Route Service Driver. You will service portable restrooms and related sanitation equipment, perform daily routes with a CDL-B vehicle, and maintain safe, courteous customer interactions on site.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a minimum of two years of DOT-regulated driving, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units on-site as needed.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and delivery/pick-up tasks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain professional customer contact and communicate with Dispatch.
• Ensure safety compliance and operate with a professional appearance.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
