Clean Harbors, Inc. in West Brookfield, MA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services on a defined route.

The company will pay for you to obtain your CDL. As aSafety-Kleen subsidiary, you will join a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services across North America.

Qualifications

• CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority in all tasks.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Switch 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles under DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
