Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Bismarck, ND seeks a Sales and Service Route Driver Class B CDL Trainee to train as a CDL B driver. The role covers onsite service for parts washer machines, pickup of hazardous waste, and selling products on a defined route. Training for CDL B is paid by Safety-Kleen.

Qualifications

• Obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or non-CDL).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with safe work practices and policies.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads from customers for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Follow local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT and local requirements.
• Observe all corporate environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
