Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Bismarck / Williston, ND is seeking a Route Driver. This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for CDL holders, uncapped commission, and comprehensive benefits. Expect 8-12 hour days with opportunities for growth and development in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority by following safe practices and policies.
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing-type businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements.
