Manhattan Laminates is seeking a Class B Route Driver to support our delivery operations across New York. We are the premier distributor of hardwood plywood, veneer and lumber with showrooms and warehouses in Manhattan, Queens and Suffolk County.

Join a team that values punctuality, customer service and safety, loading and unloading trucks daily, documenting Proof of Delivery, and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Forklift experience; Moffett forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks daily.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse team to confirm products loaded onto the truck.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, meeting time frames and ensuring product quality.
• Obtain Proof of Delivery photographs and signatures.
• Research efficient NY routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Pick up items for customer returns.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and in good order.
• Inspect vehicles and perform preventative maintenance.

We proudly offer an extensive variety of Hardwood plywood, Veneer, and Lumber.

We are seeking candidates who are hardworking, have a great attitude, can follow direction well, can be on time and ready to work when scheduled. Job Responsibilities:

• Unload and load trucks daily
• Coordinate with the Warehouse team to confirm all products to be delivered are loaded onto the truck.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and follow traffic laws and any relevant safety protocols when operating the truck.
• Provide exceptional Customer Service while making deliveries, which includes meeting expected time frames, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the product upon delivery, maintaining a positive attitude and following any special instructions.
• Obtain necessary Proof of Delivery photographs and signatures from customers to confirm delivery of product.
• Research and understand the most efficient routes throughout NY to ensure deliveries are being made in a timely manner.
• Pick up items for Customer returns.
• Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order.
• Inspect vehicles for any issues and perform preventative maintenance.
