Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls work properly.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or by the dispatcher.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports; maintain productivity standards.
