Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Residential Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous service on assigned routes in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, route navigation, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness while ensuring timely collection of waste and recyclables. DOT compliance and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read route sheets and maps and use digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential collection truck safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors about issues or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns.
