Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL (air brakes endorsement) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to our customers. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, perform VCRs daily, and maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime.

Excellent customer service and adherence to schedules are essential as you work with dispatchers and clients on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle according to policy.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers on schedule.
• Operate and load refuse, dispose of materials at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and spills.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean up after trips.
• Complete route productivity sheets and required reports.
