Granger Waste Services in Michigan is seeking a CDL-B rear-load garbage truck driver to operate on assigned residential routes. You will pull carts, manage loads, and ensure safety during daily operations.

The role offers a stable, home-daily schedule with 42–45 hours per week and comprehensive health benefits, including dental and vision, plus a 401(k) plan with up to 15% contribution. This is a full-time position with consistent routes.

Qualificações

• CDL B with air brake endorsement required.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment and random drug screens (including marijuana).
• Minimum one year of driving experience preferred, waste industry or rear-load collection preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a CDL B rear-load garbage truck on assigned residential collection routes.
• Pull and position rolling carts for collection using a semi-automated lift system.
• Operate hydraulic controls to safely empty carts and containers into the truck.
• Exit the truck frequently to collect additional waste, recycling and bulk items.
• Ride safely on the rear step between collection points as required.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Use in-truck technology (tablet) for route management and communication.
• Haul collected materials to disposal and recycling facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public.

What We’re Looking For

• ValidClass B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsementrequired
