Job summary

Soils Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Pump Truck Operator 2 to safely operate a pump truck, service residential and commercial septic systems, and complete service documentation accurately.

This role requires 1+ year of pump truck experience, a CDL Class B with Tanker endorsement, and strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

You will apply excellent customer service, work independently, and help train Operator 1 staff while following safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with Tanker endorsement required.
• 1+ year operating a pump truck.
• Strong understanding of septic systems and pumping procedures.
• Ability to operate specialized tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Pump Truck Operator 1.
• Safely operate a pump truck in compliance with regulations.
• Locate, access, and service septic systems.
• Accurately complete service documentation, including work orders and inspection reports.
• Identify and differentiate between various types of septic systems.
• Utilize sewer and drain cleaning equipment (hydro-jetters, drain snakes, flex shaft machines).
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
