Job summary

Nippon Sanso MATHESON in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a CDL B Driver to haul cylinders of Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide. The position delivers to hospitals, commercial food processors, and government agencies on a clean, year‑round schedule.

Hourly wage is $28.82 with a strong benefits package. Requirements include a CDL B license and current DOT medical card, Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), a safe driving record, and the ability to pass DOT physicals, drug

Qualifications

• CDL B license and current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of Class B experience or 6 months of experience with certification from an accredited driving school.
• Current Hazmat Endorsement (will consider candidates without Hazmat endorsement if obtained within 60 days of hire).
• No more than 1 traffic violation in last 2 years, no at-fault accidents in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in last 5 years (1 per lifetime).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Haul cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide to hospitals, commercial sites, and government agencies.
• Deliver to hospitals, food processors, and government facilities in Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements for gas handling and transportation.
