Job summary

Schwan's Company is immediately hiring a local CDL Class B route driver to deliver products to grocery stores, ensuring our popular brands like Red Baron, Tony's, Freschetta pizzas, Mrs. Smith's and Edwards desserts remain on store shelves.

You will complete the local daily route, unload and stock back rooms, use handheld technology, build in-store relationships, and follow DOT rules while performing vehicle inspections; growth opportunities into leadership roles are available.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen products.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to grocery stores to ensure availability.
• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
