Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team in North Carolina. You will operate a commercial vehicle to securely deliver and pick up confidential documents on a daily route from a 20–26 ft box truck, typically with 15+ stops, while ensuring timely service.

You will collaborate with dispatch and operations to address route challenges, maintain high customer service, and strictly follow safety, regulatory, and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional route driving experience with a CDL B license.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local routes.
• Proven safe driving practices and ability to lift 50–70 lbs while handling confidential materials.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL B and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute Daily Routes – Drive a 20–26 ft Box Truck and complete 15+ stops per day delivering/picking up confidential documents.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and operations to manage routes and resolve issues while maintaining service standards.
• Ensure compliance and safety by performing pre-/post-trip inspections and following local laws and Iron Mountain's safety policies.

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to provide secure, on-time delivery and pick-up of confidential business files, and ensuring all physical handling requirements are met.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Responsibility 1: Execute Daily Routes – Drive an automatic 20ft - 26ft Box Truck and complete an average of 15+ stops per day to deliver and pick up confidential documents from various businesses, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Operations – Work closely with dispatchers and operations teams to effectively manage your route, resolve unforeseen issues, and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Responsibility 3: Ensure Compliance and Safety – Maintain a good driving record, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow all local labor laws and Iron Mountain's safety and regulatory standards, especially when handling confidential materials.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of professional route driving experience utilizing a CDL B license.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, DOT regulations, and local area routes.
• Proven ability in safe driving practices, physically lifting, pulling, and pushing items weighing 50 lbs - 70 lbs, and providing excellent customer service.
• Mandatory: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL B driver’s license and a good driving record

• Salary details: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - until route completion
