Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Class B Local Delivery Driver in Hillsborough, NJ, focusing on dry-ice logistics.

The role involves safely navigating routes to the Bronx, Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and surrounding counties, operating a CDL B liftgate truck, and ensuring accurate load counts with customer signatures. Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in last 3 years; or pattern of one conviction and one at-fault accident.
• Must regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or recent trucking school completion.

Responsibilities

• Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Obtain customer signature and ensure load manifest accuracy for seamless service.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to improve branch performance.
• Conduct pre/post trip reviews per DOT/company maintenance guidelines.
• Uphold all policies and safety standards during transit and inside the vehicle.
• Ensure cargo stability and safety prior to and during transit.
