Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Rutland, VT. This role operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes, with a focus on safety and customer service.

The shift is Monday–Friday, day shift, with pay $26.00–$29.00 per hour, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, gain-share and safety bonuses, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving in the last 5 years.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and, on occasion, more than 100 lbs.
• Willing to work outdoors in changing temperatures and maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver cylinders and hard goods on designated routes.
• Load, unload, and collect empties; maintain accurate documentation and customer signatures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain safety compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and represent Airgas during deliveries.
