Job summary

Sysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution. This delivery driver role requires operating Type 3 and CDL B vehicles, assembling and delivering cargo to sites, and maintaining accurate paperwork. You will report to a Driver Supervisor, log hours, and ensure safe, timely deliveries.

Overtime may be required, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CDL B, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required.
• Forklift proficiency and certification required.
• Produces industry experience preferred.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves cargo from various cargo services.
• Ensures air containers, pallets, loads and equipment are transported safely and securely.
• Completes and submits on a timely basis all vehicle reports, receiving documents, trip sheets and other related paperwork.
• Receives and accounts for all cargo and submits receipts.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Accountable for collection of COD accounts.
• Reports all accidents to Driver Supervisor immediately.
