Job summary

Furnitureland South in Jamestown, NC is hiring for a Full Time Home Delivery Driver with a CDL B permit. No prior commercial driving experience is required—paid training and on-the-job guidance are provided. You will load, transport, deliver, and set up furniture for customers, delivering white-glove service in homes.

Expect two overnight trips weekly, with pay averaging about $65,000 per year. Training is provided, and per diem may apply for overnight stays as you build experience with a lead

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass a physical and lift up to 150 lbs.
• Willing to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, deliver and set up home furnishings.
• Provide friendly, professional, white-glove service in customers' homes.
• Inspect deliveries and verify contents.
• Maintain vehicle logs and comply with DMV/DOT rules.
• Occasional overnight travel (two nights weekly).
