Job description

Looking to get out from behind a desk or away from a warehouse? Do you enjoy interaction with customers?

PA’s leading distributor of janitorial and office supplies is currently seeking a motivated employee to fulfill a unique dual-role position within our Distribution Department in Altoona, PA. This individual would provide both warehouse duties and fill in as a delivery driver when needed.

What you’ll do:

1. Receive product accurately and note any discrepancies; stage orders for outbound delivery to assure accuracy.
2. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
3. Drive up to a 28’ box truck to customer locations and unload at designated customer delivery areas.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery of orders.
5. Adhere to all DOT and safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
6. Home EVERY NIGHT!

This position requires operating a Forklift and Order Picker 24’-28' box truck with lift gate, electric pallet jack, along with a CDL B License and Hazmat Endorsement!
