Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is seeking CDL B Swing Garbage Truck Drivers in Shelton, CT. The role features early start times (4am or 5am) from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and a $25.00–$32.00 per hour wage.

Applicants must have 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience in the last 7 years, a valid Class A or B CDL, airbrake endorsement, and a strong safety record. IWS offers full benefits and PTO, and emphasizes safety and reliability in serving NY/NJ/CT markets.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL driving experience within the last 7 years is required.
• Valid Class A or B CDL is required.
• Airbrake Endorsement is required.
• 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Great safety record and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate front, side, or rear-loading garbage trucks safely.
• Transport waste to disposal/transfer/recycle facilities.
• Perform pre/post inspections and ensure truck compliance with safety standards.
• Navigate through congested areas and tight spaces as needed.
