Job summary

HODGE is seeking a CDL B Driver to support warehouse operations and transportation between facilities, suppliers, and customers. You will operate a range of vehicles, handle material movement, and ensure deliveries meet safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old for CDL operations.
• ELDT compliance required for CDLs issued after Feb 7, 2022.

Responsibilities

• Safe Equipment & Vehicle Operation: Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, yard trucks, tractor-trailers, and straight trucks following safety guidelines; perform pre-operation checks.
• Regulation Compliance: Adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Material Handling: Load/unload, secure, stack materials, and verify shipments.
• Inventory Control: Update inventory movements and monitor stock levels.
• Effective Communication: Provide clear updates with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Safety: Promote a safety-first culture and follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Demonstrate HODGE Values: Uphold family, integrity, ambition, respect, and balance.
• Additional Duties: Perform tasks to support changing business needs.
