Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL B Driver/Material Handler in Columbus, OH. The role loads/unloads delivery vehicles, operates scanners and warehouse equipment, and ensures DOT and safety compliance at the distribution center and on-site locations.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, 6+ months warehouse experience, and CDL Class B driving experience. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months CDL Class B delivery driving experience.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Stand 80% of the time and lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and prepare material/documentation for deliveries.
• Operate forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker, and other loading/stacking equipment.
• Drive vehicles in compliance with all DOT and company safety requirements; perform daily checks/logs.
• Load and unload trucks and check tires; maintain truck and forklift inspection reports.
• Report inventory or safety issues to Warehouse Supervisor; act as backup Material Handler as needed.
• Assist Will-Call customers courteously and report backorders to Customer Service.
• Promote safe work practices and immediately report unsafe conditions.
