Job summary

White Cap is hiring for a CDL B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites from its facilities. The role requires complying with DOT regulations and maintaining high safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CDL driving experience with a valid license, and forklift/Moffett experience is a plus. The job is on-site with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience and valid state license.
• 2 years commercial driving experience preferred.
• Forklift/Moffett experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety.
• Ensure manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday starting at 6 AM
• Have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Moffett experience a plus
