Job summary

White Cap is hiring a CDL B Driver to join our on-site logistics team. You will deliver products to customer jobsites, load/unload with possibly a forklift, and ensure all paperwork is accurate while adhering to DOT safety standards.

The role supports warehouse operations, with preferred qualifications including CDL-B with two years’ experience, forklift certification, Moffett experience, and Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety.
• Accurate manifests and paperwork.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders when needed.

CDL B Driver at White Cap

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday starting at 6 AM
• Have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
• Moffet experience preferred
• Reliable transportation a must
