Location: Joplin, MO - Retail shop

What You'll Do

• Build Relationships: Be the first point of contact for customers, understanding their needs and guiding them to the right products.
• Drive Growth: Engage in inside sales, assess customer needs, provide quotes, and use problem-solving skills to find solutions.
• Ensure a Smooth Operation: Keep the store running smoothly, organize merchandise, and process sales with attention to detail for efficient customer experiences.
• Be a Reliable Backup: Use your Class B CDL to safely deliver essential gases and welding products when a regular driver is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a local CDL driver with inside sales responsibilities in a retail setting.
• Deliver products to customers as part of the delivery network.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years, or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school. Exceptional customer service skills are a plus.
• Endorsements: Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat upon contingent offer.
• Clean Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record and at least 21 years of age.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 25-75 lbs regularly and up to 125+ lbs with assistance; ability to stand, bend, walk, and drive up to 8 hours per day in hazardous cargo environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with sales platforms or ability to learn new systems (e.g., SAP or CRM) or basic knowledge of computer order entry is preferred.
