United Rentals is seeking a CDL B driver to deliver equipment to customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and courteous service. You will interact with customers as a company ambassador and be home each night, contributing to our growth and success.

The role emphasizes safety, responsible driving, and teamwork, with opportunities to advance within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-B).
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
