Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner. You will be the face of our company while working with customers and ensuring on-time arrivals.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (“low boys”) per CDL-A DOT requirements.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
