Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-B driver based in Essex, VT. You will operate a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes, delivering food products to customers.

Typical schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with early morning dispatch and 10–12 hour days. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments over 9 months, along with benefits like Day 1 health and wellness, 401K matching, education assistance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-B.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regs.
• Deliver and unload food products safely and on schedule.
• Inspect vehicle and report safety issues.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain log hours of service per DOT and company rules.
• Secure cargo and ensure trailer is locked after loading.
