Position: CDL Class B - Waste Collection

Reports To: Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pickup. You will cover around 150 miles from your home, lifting and depositing residential waste into a compactor. Throughout your day, you must prioritize safety, report any defects, accidents, or violations, and inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, reporting maintenance needs to management. You will enjoy being on the road and not confined to an office environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Safely operate within approximately 150 miles of your home.
2. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
3. Follow all truck driving rules, regulations, and company policies.
4. Drive trucks into loading and unloading positions.
5. Report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
6. Perform additional duties as instructed.

Shift/Schedule

• Home daily
• Monday to Friday
• Additional hours may be required
• Shift length: 10-12 hours
