Job description

Coleman Worldwide Moving is looking for CDL drivers to join our team. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods, as well as leading moving crews and interacting with customers.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading and unloading shipments.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist in loading trucks and containers for interstate commerce.
• Perform pre‑trip safety inspections on the truck and moving equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor‑trailer, as required for CDL qualification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class B license.
• Good driving record (to be verified).
• Ability to meet background standards.

Working Conditions

• Indoors and outdoors.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent squatting, bending, and stair use.
