Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions in Brundidge, AL is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickups. You’ll be on the road, home daily, with 10–12 hour shifts, Monday–Friday, and you’ll perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections while following safety rules.

The role offers weekly pay, $25,000 life insurance, vision coverage, PTO, and access to LifeMart employee discounts, plus safety and retention incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A/B license required or in process.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home.
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations.
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed.

Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
