Capital Seaboard is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver in Jessup, MD to join the delivery team. A clean driving record, CDL, and ability to lift 25 pounds are required. You will follow routes, manage inventory, and ensure on-time deliveries across customers and restaurants.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must Pass a DOT physical.
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
• Physically fit and able to lift 25 pounds comfortably.
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Professional and pleasant disposition with strong customer service.
• Dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.
• Deliver goods to specified locations on time.
• Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into the vehicle and unload as needed.
• Confirm delivery with signature and/or payments at delivery locales.
• Check in with warehouse on delivery progress as needed.
• Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork for end of shift.
• Report accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors.
• Follow all road rules and safety requirements for loading/unloading.
