Job summary

Airgas is recruiting a Delivery Driver, CDL B in Charlotte, NC, to deliver dry ice and support warehouse operations. The role involves loading/unloading, ensuring load accuracy, and maintaining safety and compliance.

The position offers a starting pay of $24.00 per hour with a ~40+ hour week, 7–12 stops daily, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. Referrals bonuses and early access to benefits are included.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• 1 year of CDL driving in the last 5 years or trucking school completion in the last 12 months.
• Military CDL experience counts toward required experience.
• No more than two traffic convictions in last 3 years (or one conviction and one at-fault accident).
• No serious violation tickets in last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in last 3 years except for unpaid child support.
• No DUI in last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer locations.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signatures and ensure load matches manifest; collect empty boxes.
• Provide customer service feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre/post trip truck inspections and keep interior clean.
• Comply with company safety, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
• Secure cargo before and during transit.
