Job summary

Craft Massachusetts in Everett, MA is hiring a CDL B Driver for a full-time, hourly role. Schedule is Monday–Friday with start times from 5:45am to 1:00pm or 5:00pm depending on route. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

You will operate straight trucks and box trucks, with a Delivery Helper assisting unloading. Essential duties include safe driving, delivering pre-sold products, stocking areas, securing pallets, collecting returns, and performing DVIR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to alcohol transport.
• Active CDL Class B License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating CDL B trucks.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00/hour

Objective: Class B Drivers are responsible for safely operating straight trucks and box trucks—all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
