Job summary

Craft Massachusetts, a division within Sheehan Family Companies, is hiring a CDL B Driver in Everett, MA. This full-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly pay range, a sign-on bonus, and a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with potential end times between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM depending on route.

The driver operates straight and box trucks with a delivery helper support to unload, ensuring safe, efficient service. The role requires a CDL B, 1 year of experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to transport alcohol (legal requirement).
• Active CDL Class B license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times vary by route.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and store products properly in dry/refrigerated areas.
• Ensure pallets loaded for transport are secure and stable.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional attitude toward customers and teammates.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) for maintenance needs.

Title: CDL B Driver - $1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus!*

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00/hour

Objective: Class B Drivers are responsible for safely operating straight trucks and box trucks—all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
