Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator for full-time work to transport steel parts between fabrication shops and job sites, while complying with safety and DOT regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and coordinate schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.

Daily Responsibilities

• Safely transport steel parts and plates between our fabrication shops and job sites.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials, following both safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure the vehicle''s safety and promptly report any issues.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch, colleagues, and clients, working together to address any concerns.
• Perform a strong adherence to DOT regulations and traffic laws.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid DOT CDL Class B drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in steel or construction material delivery is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed is required.
• Possess attention to detail.
• Have thorough understanding of, and adherence to, all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Must prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public while on the road.
