Job summary

EJ Equipment Inc. is seeking a versatile and dedicated Utility Class B Driver to deliver parts and equipment to customers and internal locations in Manteno, Illinois.

The role requires safe driving, route planning, and timely deliveries. You will load and unload goods, maintain the vehicle, and keep detailed logs while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B driver’s license at a minimum.
• Experience in facility maintenance, shop assistance, or driving roles is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Responsibilities

• Driving and Delivery: Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load goods from the warehouse into the truck and secure packages.
• Transport goods to client locations and unload shipments upon arrival.
• Maintain and service the vehicle (e.g., refueling, changing oil, checking tire pressure).
• Keep detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations.
